Green No-Bake Playdough

We made the most fun and easy green playdough this morning:

I found the recipe on The Imagination Tree's website and it truly was super easy.  You will need:

2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups boiling water
Food coloring (add this to the boiling water before mixing it with the dry ingredients)

You mix all the ingredients together, slowly adding the water and mixing along the way (I found it much easier to add the green food coloring to the water first)

Keep mixing it until you get the right consistency:

Allow the dough to cool and then place on some wax paper and knead it:

But his favorite part was rolling the dough and making funny characters:

Store this play dough in a tupperware container and you can actually re-use it!
