Yellow Block Addition

I try to incorporate some basic math into each weekly theme we do.  I pulled out some yellow blocks from our Duplo Lego set and wrote some basic addition problems on yellow craft sticks:

Monkey J would grab the number of blocks and place them under the craft stick:

Then he would count them out:
